DIAL TRIPLE (X), 2023
Performed for School of Disobedience (Budapest), in MUZA (Malta) and Storeroom (Malta)

 Dial Triple X is a duo performance based on the day of the life in the workplace of a cam girl named DIYOW (Do It Your Own Way) and how she confronts the list of requests by perverted and abusive online clients through the daily chat messages, using low costs props. The research started out as a focus on cam-girl sites as the script was built together by Charlene Galea and David John Grech who is behind the soundtrack of the performance. Sex work in Malta is a taboo and the performance aims to empower DIYOW with an insight towards her personal life behind and in front of the camera. In this performance everyday home props has been used such as watermelon, staplers as fake nails, heart sponge for plates, to highlight the DIY setting. Each time the performance took place the same props has been in used but customized to fit different spaces.
